The World Has Moved On

A commission for Arcnova of a theoretical future scene in which Arc dies a warrior's death. In this particular image a few seasons have passed since the event took place and nature is reclaiming him. A sad but lovely scene I think.

During a road trip I read some of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. A running theme in the surreal story is 'and the world has moved on'. I thought it was a fitting title.
